In this video, he explains how taking an IcleTest every now and then, may have alerted him to the presence of blood in his pee and given him the prompt he needed to go and see a doctor before more visible and painful symptoms arose.

Blood in your urine can mean many things - some of which are nothing to worry about, but some are serious. Being alerted to blood occurring in your wee, means you know to follow up with a doctor for further tests.

Many of our customers have discovered serious illnesses they would otherwise not have known about and are treating the conditions sooner. Jane one of our customers tried a test after one was left over from a pack she bought for her boys - she discovered the early stages of bladder cancer and is now being treated sooner than she would have known about otherwise.

On 12 October 2023, we invited 75 babies to an exclusive preview of our replica of Lea Road Infant Welfare Centre, originally located in Wolverhampton.

75 was chosen as 2023 marks the 75th anniversary of both the arrival of MV Empire Windrush and the formation of the National Health Service. The babbies, from across all four regions of the Black Country, were invited along to explore the new building and meet our historic characters.

At the end of October we hosted an in person event to celebrate the end of the programme and all that both the parents and students had achieved. Both parents and students highlighted how important and helpful the programme was to them after the pandemic.

When Miss Scarlett, Professor Plum, Mrs Peacock, Reverend Green, Mrs. White and Colonel Mustard arrive at a country house one dark and stormy evening, they are surprised to find they have all received the same intriguing invitation from Lord Boddy. It soon becomes clear that they all have something to hide as the mystery and hysteria grows and the inhabitants and guests of Boddy Manor are killed off one by one, with a variety of familiar weapons, leaving everyone to wonder, who will be next!

A bit about the core members...

Stevie is the director of Showdown. A singer guitarist and songwriter who has starred in West End shows and major touring musicals (Hairspray, Buddy, Million Dollar Quartet, Fiddler on the Roof); hosted and performed at some of the most prestigious and famous venues in London including the Savoy and Dorchester hotels and internationally. He has established himself as a top rated entertainer with his own acclaimed one man show which he performs around the world on 6 star cruise lines in all 7 continents, international resorts and for corporate events, parties and weddings.

Laura attended the prestigious BRIT School and has been working as a professional singer for ten years across the UK, USA, Europe and the Middle East. After six years in Dubai, she became one of the most established vocalists in the region with an impressive list of clients including Tiffany & Co., F1 Grand Prix and the Dubai World Cup, Dubai Jazz Festival as a support act for Alicia Keys, and Dubai Opera with the National Symphony Orchestra. Laura also worked as a resident singer at Cavalli Club and The Atlantis.

Jack is a contemporary jazz/funk-fusion saxophonist, composer and music producer from London, England. He is a graduate of the BRIT school of music and technology and earned a BA in jazz performance at the prestigious Berklee College Of Music in Boston. Jack regularly works as a touring and studio session musician and has worked with artists such as Murray Head, Che Lingo, Nadia Rose, Melle Brown, Young Native, Paris Cesvette, The DeadShots, Jungle Boy, Will Hutton (Sweetwood), Brendan Thomas-Meyer and Ernie Bird amongst others. Jack is set to release his own original music in 2021.

Will is a drummer and percussionist who has a degree in popular music performance at the British Institute of Modern Music (BIMM) where he was taught by the likes o Ralph Rolle (Chic), Yolanda Charles (Robbie Williams, Queen, Hans Zimmer)

Oliver Tompsett Brenda Edwards, Alice Fearn and Simon Lipkin star in the filmed production of Joe DiPietro and Jimmy Roberts' hit off-Broadway musical I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change, which will be available online from 28 to 30 January 2021.

The production has orchestrations by Doug Katsaros, direction by Kirk Jameson and musical direction by Nick Barstow (who accompanies the number below on piano) with associate direction by Atherton. The recommended age range is 16 plus, with some scenes of a sexual nature and some strong language.

Tickets for the show are available via the London Coliseum website. The piece explores romantic escapades and situations across generations.
